Al-Mustaqbal University held an expanded meeting chaired by its president, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, with the participation of the university's leadership, college deans, and directors of departments and divisions. The meeting reviewed the university's most significant achievements in global rankings, academic accreditation, scientific research, and ministerial standardized examinations, while recognizing the colleges, teams, and staff members whose efforts contributed to these accomplishments. The university president emphasized that Al-Mustaqbal University’s continued achievements are the result of a clear strategic vision, integrated institutional work, and the spirit of teamwork that unites all members of the university community. He praised the efforts of the colleges, academic departments, and academic and administrative staff in strengthening the university's standing at both the national and international levels. He further noted that the university remains committed to consolidating its leadership by enhancing the quality of education, supporting high-impact scientific research, expanding international academic partnerships, investing in digital transformation, integrating artificial intelligence technologies, and launching pioneering initiatives that address contemporary challenges in the fields of energy, healthcare, and sustainability, in line with its vision of achieving institutional excellence and sustainable development. During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, presented the results of the ministerial standardized examinations, highlighting the academic performance indicators of the university's departments and the disciplines that achieved outstanding success rates compared with their counterparts at public and private universities. These results, he explained, reflect the quality of the university's academic programs, the competence of its faculty members, and the effectiveness of its educational plans. Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, also delivered a presentation outlining the university's achievements in international rankings. He highlighted Al-Mustaqbal University's position as the top-ranked Iraqi public and private university in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2026, its first-place national ranking in several Sustainable Development Goals, and its status as the leading private university in Iraq in both the U.S. News and URAP rankings. He also reviewed the academic, research, and community initiatives that contributed to these outstanding accomplishments. In the area of quality assurance and academic accreditation, Dr. Riyadh Hamid Salman, Director of the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Department, congratulated the College of Law and the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences on receiving programmatic accreditation for their academic programs. He affirmed that this achievement reflects the university's commitment to implementing the highest standards of quality assurance and academic accreditation while supporting the continuous development of its educational programs. The meeting concluded with the honoring of colleges, academic departments, committees, teams, and staff members who played a significant role in achieving distinguished results in ministerial standardized examinations, international rankings, and academic accreditation, in recognition of their dedication and as an encouragement to continue their journey of excellence and innovation.
