Al-Mustaqbal University Launches “AI Literacy” Program to Empower Academic and Administrative Staff for the Digital Future

Under the direct patronage and supervision of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, and with the continuous follow-up of the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, the Continuing Education Center, headed by Professor Dr. Wael Al-Nadawi, launched a series of training courses under the “AI Literacy Program” aimed at enhancing digital competencies and preparing university staff to meet the demands of the rapidly evolving digital era. The program commenced with strong participation from faculty members and university employees and was delivered by a distinguished group of specialists and trainers in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, reflecting the university’s commitment to promoting digital transformation and integrating advanced technologies into academic and administrative practices. The initiative targets faculty members, employees, and students and consists of six progressive training levels, ranging from AI Awareness to AI Expert User certification, based on a structured framework designed to build both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The program aims to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, applications, and emerging trends, including analytical, predictive, and generative AI, while enhancing their ability to apply these technologies effectively in education, research, and professional environments. University officials emphasized that the launch of this program reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategic commitment to developing future-ready human capital capable of leveraging artificial intelligence responsibly and effectively, in line with its vision of academic excellence, innovation, and technological leadership.
