Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a new international academic milestone following the announcement of the 2026 University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP). The university maintained its position as the top-ranked private university in Iraq for the third consecutive year, after leading the ranking in both 2024 and 2025. This achievement reflects the consistency of its strategic vision in advancing scientific research and promoting academic excellence. At the national level, Al-Mustaqbal University secured the third position among all Iraqi public and private universities, ranking behind only the University of Baghdad and the University of Technology. Internationally, the university recorded an outstanding leap of 294 positions compared with last year's ranking, highlighting the rapid growth in the quality, impact, and visibility of its scientific research output. URAP is recognized as one of the world's leading university rankings focused on academic performance and research productivity. The ranking relies exclusively on objective data from Clarivate Analytics databases, including the number of published research papers, citation impact, overall scientific productivity, and international research collaboration. This continued achievement reaffirms Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to international academic standards, its pursuit of excellence in research and education, and its ongoing contribution to enhancing Iraq's presence in the global academic community.
