Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences Participates in a Specialized Training Course on Reasons for Research Article Rejection and How to Overcome Them

As part of the College of Administrative Sciences’ commitment to promoting a culture of high-quality scientific research and enhancing academic capabilities, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Haider Ali Al-Dulaimi, participated in the specialized training course entitled “Reasons for Research Article Rejection and How to Overcome Them,” which was delivered through the Eduba educational platform. The course was organized in response to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at improving research and academic performance across higher education institutions. The course highlighted the major challenges faced by researchers during the scientific publishing process, identifying the most common reasons behind the rejection of research articles by peer-reviewed journals. It also presented scientific approaches and practical procedures that contribute to enhancing research quality and increasing the likelihood of publication acceptance. In addition, the course covered several important topics related to research evaluation criteria, methods for selecting reputable scientific journals, and the requirements of academic writing in accordance with international standards. It also addressed common methodological and technical errors that researchers should avoid when preparing scientific manuscripts. This participation reflects the College Deanship’s commitment to keeping pace with recent developments in academic publishing and strengthening research skills in line with the requirements of international rankings, quality assurance standards, and academic accreditation frameworks. Such efforts contribute positively to enhancing the College’s scientific and research output.
