In line with the College of Administrative Sciences’ commitment to strengthening the academic presence of its faculty members and enhancing scientific cooperation among Iraqi higher education institutions, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Haider Ali Al-Dulaimi, chaired the Master's thesis defense committee for researcher Iftikhar Sahib Salih at the University of Kufa. The thesis was entitled “Investment in Energy Resources and Its Role in Enhancing Supply Security in the Global Energy Market, with Special Reference to Iraq for the Period (2003–2040).” The thesis addressed one of the most significant issues related to energy economics and energy security by examining the impact of investments in various energy resources on the sustainability of supply and the achievement of balance in global energy markets. It also analyzed the current state of Iraq’s energy sector and explored its future prospects in light of the economic and technological transformations expected over the coming decades. The defense session featured a rigorous academic discussion, including scholarly observations on both the theoretical and practical aspects of the study. Particular attention was given to the research findings and recommendations, which may contribute to supporting development policies and enhancing the efficiency of energy resource management. During the discussion, Prof. Dr. Haider Ali Al-Dulaimi emphasized the importance of specialized studies in the field of energy, describing them as a fundamental pillar in shaping economic policies and achieving sustainable development goals. He also commended the researcher’s scientific efforts and praised the thesis for its sound methodology, analytical depth, and comprehensive treatment of the subject. At the conclusion of the defense, the researcher was honored in recognition of her academic achievements and distinguished research efforts.
