The College of Education at Al-Mustaqbal University Organizes a Psychological Guidance Workshop to Reduce Students’ Exam Anxiety

The College of Education at Al-Mustaqbal University, under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rodhan Salman, organized a psychological and educational guidance workshop entitled “Overcoming Exam Anxiety.” The workshop was conducted by the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College, supervised by Professor Dr. Thanaa Baha Al-Din Abdullah, and aimed at addressing students’ exam anxiety by explaining its concept, symptoms, and negative impact on academic achievement, as well as presenting effective strategies to manage and reduce it through proper exam preparation. The workshop was held on Wednesday, 22/4/2026, at 10:00 a.m., in Hall (308) on the third floor of the Humanities Building at Al-Mustaqbal University. It included practical guidance for students on how to prepare a daily study plan, manage time effectively, and ensure psychological, mental, and physical readiness for exams. It also emphasized the importance of sufficient sleep, regular physical activity such as walking, maintaining a healthy diet, and avoiding stimulants. Additionally, colored scientific posters were distributed, providing advice and instructions to help students prepare well for exams and control exam-related anxiety. This activity aims to support students psychologically and educationally and to enhance their readiness for examinations, in line with the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (Quality Education).#College_of_Education #AlMustaqbal_University
