Iraqi women play a pivotal role in shaping the political scene, as their presence is no longer limited to symbolic participation, but has become an active voice in decision-making and influencing national issues. Since the political changes witnessed in Iraq in recent years, women have emerged as a key element in the democratic process, whether through running for elections, participating in civil society organizations, or leading community initiatives. The allocation of a quota for women in the Iraqi parliament has significantly contributed to increasing their representation within legislative institutions, providing them with the opportunity to voice their concerns and advocate for issues affecting society in general and women in particular, such as education, health, human rights, and the empowerment of marginalized groups. Despite this progress, Iraqi women still face numerous challenges that limit the effectiveness of their political voice, including social pressures, cultural constraints, and certain barriers within the political environment itself. Nevertheless, women have demonstrated their ability to overcome these obstacles and continue advocating for their rights while contributing to building a more just and balanced state. Empowering women politically is not limited to increasing their numbers in positions, but also requires genuine support for their capabilities, strengthening their self-confidence, and creating a safe environment that allows them to express their opinions freely. Today, Iraqi women are not only participants but true partners in shaping the future of the nation. Al-Mustaqbal University – The Leading Private University
