On Wednesday 24th August 2022, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College chaired a meeting for the advanced staff, academics and administrators for the purpose of pursuing and organizing flow of work and quality assessment.
The meeting has been attended by the Deputy Deans for both Administrative as well as Scientific Affairs, Heads of Departments and Units, in addition to the academics and administrators of the College.
At the beginning of the meeting the Dean thanked the attendees and all the College employees, appreciating the efforts they have exerted during the last academic year, and meanwhile instructing and emphasizing the necessity of being obligated to the directives of his Excellency the Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research that concern preparations for physical attendance during the New Academic Year. Furthermore, the assessment of the work that has been performed through the follow-up forms of research, quality and sustainability shall be fully carried out in order to come up with the best results in the National and International rankings, and thus keeping the College in its top rank. Data follow-up teams shall be established, and encouragement for scientific research is required as well.
Vital issues have been discussed during the meeting and as follows:
1. Scientific Affairs Requirements & Preparation for 2nd Term Exams, by Assist. Prof Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs
2. Following up the Requirements of National & International Rankings as well as Updating Profiles, by Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi
3. Citation Requirements, Research Status, Publishing Mechanism, and Increasing the H index, by Dr. Tariq Jawad Kadhim, Head of Research & Studies Unit
4. Review of the Most Important Achievements towards Sustainable Developments, by Dr. Muhammad Zuhair, Head of Sustainability Unit
5. Human & Material Resource Requirements with the Government Program, by Dr. Munthir Fadhil Hassan, Deputy Dean for Administrative Affairs
6. Updating the Website Data & Global Engines, by Assist. Prof. Dr. Azher M. Abid, Head of Information Technology Unit
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean has emphasized on the necessity of paying more serious attention to the file of developing the College Infrastructure, ensuring a safe and comfortable university environment for both students as well as employees. Moreover, scientific and technical solutions shall be ready at hand so as to keep on work that reflects the sobriety of Higher Education and the College Reputation.
