Mr. Anwar Munir Mahdi, Director of the Citizens’ Affairs Division at Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in the central workshop organized by the Citizens’ Affairs and Inquiries Department at the Office of the Minister of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, with the participation of representatives from public and private universities across Iraq. The workshop addressed ways to develop the work of Citizens’ Affairs divisions, standardize administrative procedures, and enhance the quality of services provided to visitors. It also discussed mechanisms for strengthening staff skills, addressing challenges facing service delivery, simplifying procedures, activating electronic services, standardizing work mechanisms, and accelerating responses to inquiries and requests. The workshop also featured a meeting with Dr. Hussein Abdul-Hussein, Director of the Citizens’ Affairs and Inquiries Department at the Office of the Minister, and Dr. Ali Talib, Director of Citizens’ Affairs for Private Universities and Colleges. The meeting focused on a number of issues related to improving institutional performance and enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens. Al-Mustaqbal University’s participation reflects its commitment to keeping pace with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, developing administrative performance, and enhancing the level of services provided to citizens through institutional work practices that contribute to improving the quality of public services.
