As part of the university’s commitment to nurturing student talent and following up on international training outcomes, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, met with the student delegation participating in the international training program following their successful completion of the academic and cultural program hosted by the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) in the United Kingdom. During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi commended the students for their outstanding efforts, discipline, and high performance throughout the training period. He emphasized that their participation reflected a bright image of Al-Mustaqbal University students and showcased the strong capabilities of Iraqi students in international academic forums. The University President highlighted the importance of students utilizing the knowledge, skills, and experiences gained during the program and sharing them with their peers to maximize the benefit of international training opportunities. He encouraged them to continue representing their university honorably and to leverage social media platforms to highlight student achievements in a way that reflects the university's prestige and global outlook. He added that Al-Mustaqbal University continues to support initiatives that provide real opportunities for learning in international academic environments, stressing that openness to global universities is essential for developing students' skills, enhancing their career readiness, and promoting a culture of global academic exchange. For his part, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, stated that this program represents the fruitful outcome of the university presidency's continuous efforts to turn international cooperation opportunities into tangible educational experiences. He explained that this program marks the first experience of its kind in cooperation with British universities, coming as part of a series of international initiatives conducted with universities in the UK, Egypt, and Turkey to advance the internationalisation of higher education. Similarly, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, expressed his appreciation for the initiative that offered students a vital opportunity to interact with an international academic environment, noting that such experiences significantly enhance their practical skills and technical adaptability. The meeting was attended by Dr. Samir Badrawi, Director of Cultural Relations, along with several faculty members from the College of Engineering Technologies who accompanied the students during their training program in the UK. At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi honored the participating students with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their commitment, active participation, and distinguished representation of Al-Mustaqbal University.
