Professor Dr. Mahdi Abadi Manaa has officially assumed his duties as the Director of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University, aligning with the university's vision to advance scientific research and keep pace with the digital revolution. Immediately upon taking office, Dr. Abadi chaired the first meeting with the center’s administrative and technical staff. The meeting focused on discussing future workflows and delegating key tasks and responsibilities among team members to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and productivity. The meeting resulted in several pivotal outcomes and decisions, most notably: Current Work Statistics: Instructing the staff to prepare accurate and comprehensive statistics on all ongoing projects and operations, to be submitted in a detailed report for current situation assessment. Semi-Annual Plan: Initiating the immediate drafting of a semi-annual strategic plan to be launched early next year, aimed at precisely defining targets and distributing technical and research roles. Developmental Recommendations: The Director provided a series of recommendations emphasizing the need to intensify research efforts and innovate smart software solutions that serve both the academic and wider community. At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Abadi expressed his great confidence in the center's staff capabilities, stressing that the upcoming phase will witness a qualitative leap in the center's practical outputs and applications, matching the prestige and standing of Al-Mustaqbal University, which ranks first among private universities and colleges in Iraq.
