Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the university organized its First Alumni Forum for the year 2026 under the slogan "Alumni are Partners in Success and Creators of the Future." The event took place at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and the Continuous Education Center at the Al-Qadhiah site. The forum witnessed a high-level academic and official attendance, led by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, the Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, Professor Dr. Azhar Muhsin Abid, and the Director of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, Professor Dr. Nidal Khdair Al-Abadi. This was alongside a wide participation of university professors, directors of centers and departments, and elite representatives from government institutions and the private sector. The forum aims to translate the university's strategy into building sustainable communication channels with its graduates, and expanding horizons for professional networking and collaboration with various labor market sectors. In the opening speech, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi emphasized that the alumni represent the true extension of the university's scientific mission, noting the institution's continuous commitment to supporting them through qualification and professional development programs. The forum also featured specialized presentations on entrepreneurship and industrial development, as well as an overview of qualification and employment plans presented by Professor Dr. Iman Abdul Aziz, Director of the Qualification and Employment Division at the University Presidency, aligned with the rapidly changing demands of the labor market. Attendees praised the high scientific and skill levels demonstrated by the university's graduates, especially after reviewing a collection of inspiring success stories of alumni who achieved outstanding professional milestones, alongside examples of young talents who were recruited to join the university's academic faculty. The activities concluded with a field tour where guests explored the latest laboratories, smart technologies, and services provided by the university to support innovation and scientific research.
