Under the auspices of the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University and as part of its ongoing commitment to equipping students with cutting-edge technical skills, the Energy Research Center hosted a specialized workshop today titled: Energy Management System in Generation Side for Microgrid and Nanogrid Applications" The workshop was presented by Dr. Saif Jamal Mahdi, with an active attendance of students specializing in renewable energy and smart system technologies. Key Workshop Highlights: The session provided a detailed technical analysis of modern mechanisms for power flow control and load distribution, focusing on: • Control Strategies: Methods for balancing supply and demand within Microgrids and Nanogrids. • Performance Optimization: The pivotal role of Energy Management Systems (EMS) in reducing energy waste and enhancing the efficiency of renewable sources like solar and wind power. • Generation-Side Stability: Ensuring grid resilience when integrating diverse and intermittent generation sources.
