Al-Mustaqbal University Enhances Innovation by Activating the Entrepreneurship Center

Al-Mustaqbal University has reinforced its practical steps toward activating the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center as part of its strategic vision to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship and transform creative ideas into projects with sustainable economic and societal impact An expanded meeting was held at the Office of Scientific Supervision and Academic Affairs, chaired by Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific Supervision and Academic Affairs, with the participation of Professor Dr. Eman Abdul Aziz, Director of the Training and Employment Division, along with several department directors and officials responsible for innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives. The meeting focused on discussing the operational mechanisms of the center, which was recently established under the initiative of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi During the meeting, participants reviewed the center’s overall vision, strategic objectives, and implementation plans for the upcoming phase, aiming to strengthen the university’s role in building a knowledge-based economy and supporting promising entrepreneurial ventures. They emphasized the importance of the center serving as a hub for innovative ideas and initiatives, helping identify students’ creative potential and transform their projects and ideas into practical models that can be further developed and marketed, thereby enhancing opportunities for success and excellence in the labor market The meeting also addressed the distribution of tasks and responsibilities across several key areas, including training and capacity-building programs in innovation and entrepreneurship, incubation of promising projects and ideas, development of mechanisms for marketing innovative products and outputs, attracting students and engaging them in entrepreneurial activities, and strengthening cooperation with public and private sector institutions as well as the labor market Furthermore, attendees discussed ways to utilize artificial intelligence applications to support the center’s operations and enhance its services, contributing to the efficiency of training programs and the development of student entrepreneurial projects. Al-Mustaqbal University Invites Its Graduates to Benefit from the Graduates Support Initiative

Al-Mustaqbal University has called on its graduates from various disciplines to benefit from the Graduates Support Initiative launched by the General Directorate of Industrial Development of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals. The initiative aims to empower young people and enhance their integration into the labor market by supporting small and medium-sized industrial projects and promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and industrial innovation The initiative targets graduates of colleges, institutes, and vocational schools who are no older than 35 years of age, in addition to graduates of the Riyada Initiative aged between 18 and 50 years, graduates of technological incubators affiliated with the Industrial Research and Development Authority and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, as well as holders of patents and innovative projects The initiative offers a package of supportive facilities and incentives, including reduced fees for obtaining industrial development licenses, simplified procedures for allocating industrial land, granting factory identification for the first time, and providing customs and tax exemptions for eligible projects in accordance with applicable laws and regulations The initiative also includes training programs and specialized workshops in entrepreneurship, management, marketing, and digital transformation, in addition to providing technical and administrative guidance and consultancy services to beneficiaries, helping them develop their projects and enhance their chances of success and sustainability Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirmed its commitment to supporting its graduates and encouraging them to take advantage of national opportunities and initiatives that help transform entrepreneurial ideas into productive projects, contributing to economic development and creating sustainable employment opportunities for young people For more information about the initiative and application procedures, graduates can visit the platforms of the General Directorate of Industrial Development of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals

In line with its vision of promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship and empowering students to transform their ideas into projects with social and economic impact, Al-Mustaqbal University announces the launch of the Al-Mustaqbal Student Creativity and Innovation Competition for undergraduate students under the title “Future Innovator” The competition aims to attract entrepreneurial ideas and promising innovative projects, particularly graduation projects with strong potential for development and practical implementation. It seeks to foster initiative and creativity among students while linking educational outcomes to the needs of society and the labor market Competition Tracks Health Technologies Track This track includes Artificial intelligence applications in healthcare and medicine. Al-Mustaqbal University Announces 2026 Summer Training Programs at Mansoura University

Al-Mustaqbal University announced the opening of registration for its students to participate in the 2026 summer training programs to be held at Mansoura University, as part of strengthening academic cooperation between the two universities and enhancing students’ scientific and practical skills The university explained that the training programs will cover several specializations, including medicine, engineering, medical sciences and technologies, fine arts education, education and arts, administrative sciences, and physical education. The training period will last for one week during the period extending from the second half of July until the first half of August 2026 The university also indicated that accommodation will be provided in the university dormitories of Mansoura University, noting that the program fee is 300 US dollars, which includes accommodation, meals, and training The university called on students wishing to participate to promptly submit their information and required documents through their respective colleges and departments in order to include their names in the official coordination and travel lists

Al-Mustaqbal University Launches the Industrial Advisory Council for the College of Medicine

Al-Mustaqbal University launched the first meeting of the Industrial Advisory Council for the College of Medicine, in a step that reflects its strategic vision toward advancing medical education and strengthening integration with the health and industrial sectors. The meeting was attended by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Walaa Al-Falluji, in addition to a representative from the Babylon Health Directorate, several directors of hospitals and health centers in the province, and a number of faculty members In his opening remarks, the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, emphasized that establishing the council represents an important strategic step toward enhancing integration between the academic environment and the healthcare sector. He explained that the council would contribute to aligning academic programs with labor market requirements through the development of curricula and study plans that meet the needs of healthcare institutions, pharmaceutical industries, and modern medical technologies He also highlighted the council’s role in developing students’ professional skills by focusing on future-oriented competencies, particularly in the fields of medical artificial intelligence, health data management, medical devices, and biosafety, in addition to strengthening practical and clinical training through effective partnerships with hospitals, laboratories, and specialized medical institutions Furthermore, he noted that the council would play a pivotal role in supporting scientific research and innovation by directing research projects toward addressing real healthcare challenges and encouraging initiatives in medical innovation and healthcare entrepreneurship, alongside supporting quality assurance and academic accreditation standards and keeping pace with developments in digital medicine, surgical robotics, bioprinting, and smart diagnostics For his part, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi stated that industrial advisory councils have become one of the fundamental pillars in building modern universities, given the real opportunities they provide for integrating education with practical application. He pointed out that the council would contribute to establishing sustainable strategic partnerships with the health and industrial sectors, while opening new horizons for exchanging expertise and implementing joint projects He further explained that one of the council’s key expected roles is supporting graduate employment and strengthening communication with healthcare institutions, as well as providing strategic insights that assist the university in expanding medical programs and advanced technologies, in addition to supporting community initiatives and healthcare projects that contribute to achieving health sustainability and improving quality of life Meanwhile, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Walaa Al-Falluji, affirmed that the formation of the council represents a qualitative step in the college’s journey toward developing an educational environment more closely linked to practical applications and contemporary healthcare challenges.
