Al-Mustaqbal University and Al-Azhar University Organize a Scientific Forum to Strengthen University Partnerships, Employment, and Sustainable Career Development
As part of its efforts to strengthen academic cooperation and exchange expertise among Arab universities, Al-Mustaqbal University, in collaboration with Al-Azhar University in the Arab Republic of Egypt, is organizing the University Partnership Forum for Qualification, Employment, and Sustainable Career Development under the slogan: The Egyptian Experience in the Erasmus Programme and Prospects for Cooperation between Al-Mustaqbal University and Al-Azhar University to Empower Graduates and Enhance Their Employment Opportunities The forum will be held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and Professor Dr. Mahmoud Seddiq, President of Al-Azhar University, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, with the participation of the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division at Al-Mustaqbal University. The event is scheduled for Thursday, 29 October 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Baghdad time, and will be conducted online The forum will address several key topics, including the Egyptian experience in the Erasmus Programme and prospects for university cooperation in qualification, employment, and professional development. It will also explore ways to empower graduates, enhance their readiness to meet labour market requirements, and benefit from successful academic experiences in developing professional training and qualification programmes The forum will feature Professor Dr. Mohammed Mansour Saad Farag, Director of International Relations, Director of Project Management, Professor of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, and Director of the Regional Centre for Mycology and Biotechnology at Al-Azhar University; and Professor Dr. Samir Badrawi, Director of the Department of Cultural and International Relations at Al-Mustaqbal University. The discussion will be moderated by Professor Dr. Iman Abdul Aziz, Director of the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division at Al-Mustaqbal University Organizing this forum reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to expanding international academic partnerships, promoting the exchange of expertise among educational institutions, and developing initiatives that contribute to preparing students and graduates for professional careers and enhancing their competencies in line with labour market requirements
