Al-Mustaqbal University Holds Online Workshop to Empower Industrial Advisory Boards and Support Academic Accreditation

The Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a specialized online workshop titled “Empowering Industrial Advisory Boards in Light of Academic Accreditation Requirements,” presented by Professor Dr. Mohsen Al-Abadi. The workshop was attended by deans of colleges and members of the advisory boards, focusing on the role of these boards in supporting academic accreditation programs and ways to enhance their partnership with educational institutions to improve the quality of education and ensure alignment with national and international standards. This workshop is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to develop institutional capacities, promote a culture of academic accreditation, and strengthen collaboration with relevant industrial and professional sectors.

Al-mustaqbal University continues its global rise in the Webometrics ranking.

Al-Mustaqbal University continues its upward trajectory on the global higher education map, achieving a significant milestone in the latest edition of the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities. The university secured first place among private universities in Iraq and third place overall in Iraq (both the country and the region) in the Webometrics Ranking, out of 128 Iraqi public and private universities included in the ranking. Internationally, Al-Mustaqbal University recorded a remarkable leap in its global ranking, advancing from 3224th to 1967th place – a jump of 1257 places in a single ranking. This reflects a tangible improvement in academic performance, research output, and digital presence. This achievement underscores the university's ongoing institutional commitment to quality standards and continuous improvement, aligning its policies with international standards, thus enhancing its growing presence and increasing influence within the global academic community. University of Al-Mustaqbal Tops the 2025 Iraqi University Ranking According to Quality and Academic Accreditation Standards

Al-Mustaqbal University has taken a leading position in the academic landscape by topping the 2025 Iraqi University Ranking, achieving first place among private universities, according to the results announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research after evaluating 103 public and private educational institutions. This achievement was based on precise criteria that included institutional performance, quality of education, scientific research, and academic accreditation, with Al-Mustaqbal University obtaining a score of (62.46), outperforming a number of public and private universities. This distinction confirms the outcomes of institutional work and strategic planning, and reflects the university’s continuous commitment to applying quality assurance and accreditation standards, thereby strengthening its academic standing and supporting the advancement of higher education in Iraq.
