Al-Mustaqbal University Enhances Cooperation with the Ministry of Planning During the Visit of the Director of the National Center

During the visit of the Director of the National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology to Al-Mustaqbal University, and with the participation of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, emphasis was placed on enhancing avenues of joint cooperation through activating the agreement concluded with the Ministry of Planning, in a manner that supports quality pathways and institutional development within the university. This step comes as part of the efforts of the Department of Quality Assurance to support institutional partnerships and activate joint programs in accordance with national and international standards, contributing to the achievement of accreditation requirements and institutional excellence at Al-Mustaqbal University.

Training Workshop on Academic Quality Management in Line with International Standards at Al-Mustaqbal University

The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning / National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology, organized a specialized training workshop entitled “Academic Quality Management in Accordance with International Standards – A Journey Toward International Accreditation.” The workshop was attended by quality assurance officers from the university’s colleges and academic departments. The workshop addressed key topics related to strengthening academic quality concepts, national and international accreditation requirements, and best global practices in quality management, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to institutionalize a culture of quality and enhance overall institutional performance. This workshop is part of a series of activities implemented by the Department of Quality Assurance in support of excellence and institutional accreditation at Al-Mustaqbal University.

Al-Mustaqbal University Honors Distinguished Staff on Achieving Advanced Positions in the Iraqi University Rankings

Al-Mustaqbal University organized an honorary ceremony to recognize the academic and administrative staff who contributed to achieving advanced positions for several university departments in the Iraqi University Rankings, under the patronage of the University President. The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department emphasized that this achievement is the result of institutional collaboration and the integration of efforts among deans, heads of departments, and quality officers, reflecting the university’s commitment to quality standards and academic excellence. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the University President honored the contributors to this achievement in appreciation of their dedication and outstanding efforts.

The Accreditation Division Continues its Work to Complete Institutional Accreditation Requirements Audit Procedures at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences

In its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of education and achieve academic excellence, the Accreditation Division conducted an audit visit to the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences to monitor its compliance with institutional accreditation requirements. A meeting was held with the Dean and representatives of the accreditation standards committee, and observations were documented for the purpose of addressing them and reinforcing strengths, all with the aim of providing a robust educational environment.

Meeting Between the Quality Assurance Department and the Anesthesia Department to Discuss Program Accreditation

The Quality Assurance Department met with the Anesthesia Department to discuss the requirements for program accreditation and the mechanisms for applying its standards. The meeting covered the accreditation criteria, program development, and improving learning outcomes to align with quality standards. The importance of collaboration between the two departments was emphasized to ensure accreditation requirements are met and educational quality is enhanced. At the conclusion of the meeting, recommendations and an action plan were agreed upon to follow up on accreditation requirements in the upcoming phase.

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in partnership with the Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS), Al-Mustaqbal University hosted the EURAS Academy 2026 international forum, held for the first time in Iraq, with broad national and international academic participation. The forum reflects the University’s commitment to promoting quality, sustainability, and academic internationalization, strengthening global partnerships, and supporting the development of higher education in line with contemporary global transformations.

Accreditation Division Continues Efforts to Audit Institutional Accreditation Standards at the Colleges of Medicine and Agricultural Technologies

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of education and achieve institutional accreditation standards, the Academic Accreditation Division conducted a comprehensive audit visit to the College of Medicine and the College of Agricultural Technologies. The visit aimed to assess the extent to which the two colleges meet the requirements for institutional accreditation. Meetings were held with the esteemed deans and representatives of the accreditation standards, during which detailed observations were recorded for each standard to ensure the highest levels of academic and administrative performance.

This major achievement reflects the department's and the university's commitment to the highest standards of quality and excellence, through quality education, the implementation of program accreditation requirements in line with modern standards, applied training in a developed laboratory environment that meets labor market needs, scientific research with active academic production that reflects the competence of the teaching staff, and distinguished outputs by graduating technical engineers who possess skill, knowledge, and experience.
