A Researcher from the University of Al-Mustaqbal Participates in the First International / Second National Scientific Conference at the University of Mosul

Researcher Sama Safaa Al-Murabba from the University of Al-Mustaqbal, Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, participated in the proceedings of the First International / Second National Scientific Conference organized by the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul, held on 23–24 December 2025. The conference is regarded as a significant academic forum aimed at enhancing scientific research and promoting the exchange of academic expertise among researchers from Iraqi and Arab universities. During her participation, the researcher presented a scientific paper addressing a contemporary topic in the field of modern marketing, highlighting the role of branding in influencing consumer behavior and in building positive and sustainable psychological relationships with consumers. This contributes to strengthening marketing loyalty and supports modern trends in consumer psychology. The conference was held within the framework of supporting research activities and encouraging scholars to present innovative scientific perspectives that contribute to addressing contemporary economic and administrative issues. Participating researchers played an active role in enriching academic discussions and opening new horizons for research collaboration. Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department Conducts an Internal Audit on Program Accreditation Requirements

The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department conducted an internal audit of the Department of Business Administration / College of Administrative Sciences, as part of its efforts to monitor compliance with program accreditation requirements in accordance with the standards adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The audit focused on reviewing academic and administrative aspects, the level of evidence documentation, and the mechanisms for applying quality standards, aiming to identify strengths and areas for improvement and to support the department’s progress toward achieving program accreditation. These procedures are part of the University’s strategic plan to enhance the culture of quality, improve academic performance, and ensure compliance with accreditation and institutional governance standards.

Participation of the Director of Quality Assurance at Al-Mustaqbal University in the Ministerial Institutional Accreditation Team

Dr. Riyadh Hamed, Director of Quality Assurance at Al-Mustaqbal University, participated as a national evaluator within the ministerial institutional accreditation team during the accreditation visit to Al-Nahrain University. The visit included an official meeting with the university leadership to discuss institutional accreditation requirements and procedures, in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Dr. Hamed also took part in the field tour conducted by the accreditation team, covering the university presidency and several colleges, to review administrative and academic structures and institutional practices within the framework of quality assurance

Al-Mustaqbal University Ranks First Among Private Universities in the Arab University Ranking 2025

Al-Mustaqbal University achieved first place among private universities in Iraq in the Arab University Ranking 2025, issued by the Association of Arab Universities on 22 December 2025. The University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, stated that this achievement reflects the University’s academic excellence, ranking fifth nationally among 63 Iraqi universities, and 62nd at the Arab level out of 236 universities from 20 Arab countries.

Al-Mustaqbal University Discusses Institutional Cooperation Mechanisms with the National Center for Administrative Development

Al-Mustaqbal University Discusses Institutional Cooperation Mechanisms with the National Center for Administrative Development Within the framework of Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategic orientation toward enhancing quality and institutional integration, and under the guidance of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the University hosted the Director General of the National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology at the Ministry of Planning, Dr. Hussein Ali Dawood Al-Gartani, to explore avenues of mutual cooperation. The visit included a meeting that focused on activating the cooperation agreement between the two parties and supporting administrative development programs, digital transformation, and institutional capacity building, in line with quality assurance, governance requirements, and academic accreditation standards. During a field tour, the visiting delegation reviewed the University’s facilities and advanced infrastructure, and attended part of the Al-Mustaqbal Festival for Persons with Disabilities. At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Al-Gartani expressed his appreciation for the University’s institutional progress, affirming the Center’s readiness to support Al-Mustaqbal University’s initiatives and strengthen effective partnerships aimed at achieving institutional excellence.

Director of Quality Assurance at Al-Mustaqbal University Participates as a National Evaluator at Al-Nahrain University

The Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University participated as a member of the National Evaluation Team of the National Council for Institutional Accreditation in conducting the institutional evaluation of Al-Nahrain University, in accordance with the accreditation standards approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This participation comes as part of national efforts to strengthen quality assurance systems and enhance academic and administrative performance in higher education institutions through the application of rigorous and objective evaluation methodologies that support continuous improvement and institutional accreditation requirements. This assignment reflects the distinguished expertise and active role of Al-Mustaqbal University and its specialized staff in advancing quality assurance and accreditation practices at the national level.

Al-Mustaqbal University Launches the 2025 Anti-Drug Awareness Week with Active Participation from the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department

Al-Mustaqbal University has launched the Iraqi Anti-Drug Awareness Week 2025, under the patronage of the University President, with broad participation from academic leaders and students. The Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department played an active role in supporting, organizing, and monitoring the events to ensure their alignment with quality standards and the university’s awareness objectives. The opening day included scientific workshops, student-focused dialogues, and educational exhibitions, including a session on the university’s strategy for combating drugs. The department contributed through oversight and quality assurance to ensure the effectiveness of these activities. The department’s participation reflects the university’s commitment to fostering a safe and healthy campus environment and supporting national efforts to protect young people from the dangers of drug abuse.

Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department Participates in Consultative Meeting at Al-Mustaqbal University to Review Preparations for the 2025 Scientific Activities

The Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the consultative meeting chaired by the University Presidency, with the attendance of directors of the following departments and units: Scientific Affairs, Cultural Relations, Sustainability, Studies and Planning, International Rankings, Continuing Education, Training and Employment, and Women’s Affairs. The meeting focused on reviewing the university’s preparations for implementing the remaining scientific activities planned for 2025. During the meeting, the Quality Assurance Department presented its vision on mechanisms to ensure the quality of upcoming scientific events, emphasizing the importance of coordination among all university units to deliver activities that meet academic standards and achieve meaningful impact within the university community. The department also outlined its plan for monitoring performance indicators related to each activity, documentation and continuous improvement procedures, and its role in supporting organizing committees to ensure program readiness and alignment with national and international requirements. The participation of the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department reflects its commitment to supporting the university’s scientific progress, enhancing the quality of its activities, and contributing to its mission of excellence in education, research, and community engagement.
