The President of Misan University visits Al-Mustaqbal Energy Research Center

The President of Misan University, Professor Dr. Adel Manea Al-Kaabi, accompanied by Professor Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision at Al-Mustaqbal University, visited Al-Mustaqbal Energy Research Center. They were received by Professor Dr. Majid Hameed Majeed, who provided them with a detailed explanation of the equipment available at the center and the mechanisms of how these devices operate. The visit was an opportunity to discuss the center s capabilities and explore potential areas for collaboration in energy research and innovation

Closing of the Concepts and Foundations of Renewable Energy course at Al-Mustaqbal Energy Research Center

Al-Mustaqbal Energy Research Center concluded a training course titled Concepts and Foundations of Renewable Energy, which lasted for three days. The main goals of the course included enabling trainees to deliver lectures on renewable energy applications. Engineer Dania Tareq presented on the importance of recycling oil waste to produce green fuel. The second presentation, by student Mohaimen Safaa, focused on generating electricity from wave energy. Master s student Afrah Neima Al-Khafaji gave a presentation on geothermal energy and how to utilize it in various applications

The scientific aspect of The Concepts and Foundations of Renewable Energy course

On the second day of the training program in the Concepts and Foundations of Renewable Energy course, the practical training at the Al-Mustaqbal Energy Research Center aims to equip trainees with knowledge and understanding of renewable energy and its modern applications. The course program includes introducing trainees to different types of renewable energy, such as solar energy, wind energy, thermal energy, and hydrogen energy. It also covers familiarization with the technologies and tools used in generating renewable energy, such as solar panels and wind turbines. This training can help participants develop the necessary skills for working in the renewable energy field and enhance their understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this important sector.

On Wednesday, May 29, 2024, the first training course on Concepts and Foundations of Renewable Energy was inaugurated, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, with the attendance of a large number of participants from various disciplines. During the course, Dr. Azhar delivered a comprehensive lecture covering several key topics on renewable energy.

They were received by the Center’s Director, Professor Dr. Majid Hamid Majeed, and the center s staff. During the visit, they reviewed the newly installed equipment and machinery at the center, which is used for experiments related to renewable energy, including solar and wind energy.
