Specialized Training Workshop on Virtual Reality (VR) Technology within the Summer Training Program at Al-Mustaqbal University

Under the esteemed patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, a specialized training workshop was organized as part of the summer training program for students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies. The workshop was titled: 🔹 "Virtual Reality (VR) Technology" It was presented by Dr. Murtadha Dohan, who discussed the core concepts of virtual reality technologies and their practical applications. The session also explored the role of VR in simulating interactive and educational environments, and how it contributes to developing students' skills in engineering and technology fields. The workshop witnessed notable engagement from the students and offered a valuable opportunity to expand their knowledge of cutting-edge VR technologies and their implementation in future engineering and educational projects. Scientific Participation by Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi

Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi, Director of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, participated in a specialized online workshop held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM, under the title: "University Ranking Systems and Evaluation Criteria". The workshop addressed global standards in university ranking and the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing institutional academic performance. Prof. Dr. Nidhal delivered a scientific intervention in which he discussed strategies for improving university rankings through the use of intelligent data analytics and academic quality indicators, while also presenting the Center's efforts in supporting Al-Mustaqbal University's leadership goals. This participation reflects the Center’s commitment to contributing to the advancement of university performance and strengthening the scientific presence of Iraqi higher education institutions. Specialized Training Workshop on Modern Robotics and VEX Robotics System within the Summer Training Program

Under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, and in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center, a specialized training workshop was held as part of the summer training program for students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies. The workshop was titled: 🔹 "Modern Robotics and VEX Robotics System" It was delivered by Dr. Musadaq Maher Abdulzahra, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Incubator at Al-Mustaqbal University. The workshop covered several key topics, including an introduction to intelligent robotic systems, the fundamentals of programming control using the VEX environment, and the role of this technology in developing students' practical and engineering skills. The workshop also featured demonstrations of real-world models and educational applications that utilize these systems in interactive learning environments. The students showed remarkable engagement, and the session significantly contributed to enhancing their knowledge of modern technologies in artificial intelligence and educational robotics. Online Training Workshop on Scientific Research Concepts

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s continuous efforts to strengthen scientific research practices and enhance the competencies of academic staff, the College of Medical and Health Technologies, in collaboration with the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, organized an online training workshop entitled: 📌 "Concepts of Scientific Research" 📅 Day: Tuesday 🗓️ Date: July 15, 2025 🕗 Time: 8:00 PM 📍 Platform: ZOOM This workshop was aligned with Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) of the Sustainable Development Goals, reflecting the university’s commitment to supporting and developing the skills of researchers and faculty members in order to improve the quality of education and research. Applied Workshop to Enhance Presentation Preparation and Delivery Skills Using AI Tools for Engineering Students at Al-Mustaqbal University

Under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, an applied training workshop was held on Saturday, 12th of July 2025, as part of the summer training program for the students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ skills in preparing and delivering presentations using artificial intelligence tools. During the session, students prepared technical presentations utilizing AI tools, then presented them in front of their peers in an interactive and engaging environment. Programmer Ms. Sarah Sadoon Abbas led the discussion following each presentation, highlighting the students’ strengths while addressing areas for improvement, and offering guidance to develop their public speaking and content organization abilities. Specialized Workshop for Engineering Students on Preparing Professional Presentations Using AI Tools at Al-Mustaqbal University

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to developing students’ skills and preparing them for the labor market, and under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, a specialized training workshop was organized on Wednesday, 9th of July 2025, for the students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies within the framework of the university’s summer training program. The workshop was delivered by programmer Ms. Sarah Sadoon Abbas, focusing on how to prepare professional presentations using artificial intelligence tools. The session highlighted techniques for selecting appropriate designs, organizing texts and images, and utilizing smart platforms to enhance content quality while saving time and effort. Advanced Training Workshop at Al-Mustaqbal University: Integrated Smart Gas Leak Detection and Alarm System

As part of the summer training program organized by Al-Mustaqbal University for students of the Colleges of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, and under the esteemed patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, a specialized workshop was held on Monday, July 7, 2025, under the direct supervision of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, in collaboration with the Center for Continuing Education, titled: "Integrated Project: Gas Leak Detection and Alarm Activation," delivered by Eng. Mohammed Saad Abaes, member of the AI Center team. The session focused on designing a smart system using Arduino and gas sensors to detect flammable gas leaks and automatically trigger an audible alarm to ensure safety. The hands-on component included building a working prototype, reading sensor data, programming the alert mechanism, and integrating electronic components in a real-world simulation. The workshop also addressed the relevance of such systems in home and industrial safety, highlighting their role within IoT (Internet of Things) applications and encouraging students to explore practical, tech-based solutions to everyday challenges. Al-Mustaqbal University Hosts Advanced Flutter Workshop to Boost Student Innovation During Summer Training Program

As part of its strategic vision to empower students with future-ready digital competencies, Al-Mustaqbal University continues to implement its Summer Training Program for students of the Colleges of Engineering and Engineering Technologies. The initiative is held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, and is directly supervised by the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education. On Monday, July 7, 2025, an advanced workshop was held under the title: “Enhancing Flutter-Based Projects,” delivered by Programmer Sarah Sadoon Abbas, a specialist at the AI Applications Center. The workshop focused on refining and upgrading mobile applications previously developed by students using the Flutter framework. It covered essential techniques such as optimizing app architecture, improving UI/UX through interactive design, managing application state with advanced tools, and integrating scalable backend functionalities. The session also emphasized real-world application design and professional coding practices, offering students practical strategies to elevate their projects from prototypes to deployment-ready products. This hands-on training helped bridge the gap between theoretical study and applied technology, reinforcing the university’s project-based learning approach.
