Training Workshop on Developing Smart Control Interfaces for Arduino Projects Using RemoteXY

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals — particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) — the Center of Al-Mustaqbal for Artificial Intelligence Applications held a practical training workshop titled: 🔹 "Developing Smart Control Interfaces for Arduino Projects Using RemoteXY" The workshop took place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, as part of the summer training program for students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies. It was delivered by Eng. Mohammed Saad Abees, an expert in embedded systems and smart technologies. The session focused on teaching students how to design interactive smartphone interfaces to control Arduino projects using the RemoteXY platform. Through live, hands-on implementation, students were able to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world application, enhancing both their technical skills and creative thinking. Online Workshop on the Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools in Scientific Research

Under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and as part of a series of scientific workshops aimed at enhancing academic research skills—aligned with the strategic vision to achieve Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)— Al-Mustaqbal University organized an online workshop entitled: 📌 "Using Artificial Intelligence Tools in Scientific Research" 🗓️ Date: Saturday, July 20, 2025 🕗 Time: 8:00 PM 📍 Platform: ZOOM The workshop was specifically designed for the faculty members of the College of Medical and Health Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University, aiming to equip them with practical knowledge on how to utilize modern AI tools throughout the scientific research process. The session was delivered by Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi, Director of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, who presented an insightful lecture on leveraging AI in hypothesis generation, data analysis, accelerating publishing, and enhancing the quality of research outcomes. Specialized Training Workshop on Virtual Reality (VR) Technology within the Summer Training Program at Al-Mustaqbal University

Under the esteemed patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, a specialized training workshop was organized as part of the summer training program for students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies. The workshop was titled: 🔹 "Virtual Reality (VR) Technology" It was presented by Dr. Murtadha Dohan, who discussed the core concepts of virtual reality technologies and their practical applications. The session also explored the role of VR in simulating interactive and educational environments, and how it contributes to developing students' skills in engineering and technology fields. The workshop witnessed notable engagement from the students and offered a valuable opportunity to expand their knowledge of cutting-edge VR technologies and their implementation in future engineering and educational projects. Scientific Participation by Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi

Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi, Director of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, participated in a specialized online workshop held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM, under the title: "University Ranking Systems and Evaluation Criteria". The workshop addressed global standards in university ranking and the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing institutional academic performance. Prof. Dr. Nidhal delivered a scientific intervention in which he discussed strategies for improving university rankings through the use of intelligent data analytics and academic quality indicators, while also presenting the Center's efforts in supporting Al-Mustaqbal University's leadership goals. This participation reflects the Center’s commitment to contributing to the advancement of university performance and strengthening the scientific presence of Iraqi higher education institutions. Specialized Training Workshop on Modern Robotics and VEX Robotics System within the Summer Training Program

Under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, and in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center, a specialized training workshop was held as part of the summer training program for students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies. The workshop was titled: 🔹 "Modern Robotics and VEX Robotics System" It was delivered by Dr. Musadaq Maher Abdulzahra, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Incubator at Al-Mustaqbal University. The workshop covered several key topics, including an introduction to intelligent robotic systems, the fundamentals of programming control using the VEX environment, and the role of this technology in developing students' practical and engineering skills. The workshop also featured demonstrations of real-world models and educational applications that utilize these systems in interactive learning environments. The students showed remarkable engagement, and the session significantly contributed to enhancing their knowledge of modern technologies in artificial intelligence and educational robotics. Applied Workshop to Enhance Presentation Preparation and Delivery Skills Using AI Tools for Engineering Students at Al-Mustaqbal University

Under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, an applied training workshop was held on Saturday, 12th of July 2025, as part of the summer training program for the students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ skills in preparing and delivering presentations using artificial intelligence tools. During the session, students prepared technical presentations utilizing AI tools, then presented them in front of their peers in an interactive and engaging environment. Programmer Ms. Sarah Sadoon Abbas led the discussion following each presentation, highlighting the students’ strengths while addressing areas for improvement, and offering guidance to develop their public speaking and content organization abilities. This workshop reflects the university’s commitment to fostering an interactive educational environment that empowers students with practical skills aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). Specialized Workshop for Engineering Students on Preparing Professional Presentations Using AI Tools at Al-Mustaqbal University

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to developing students’ skills and preparing them for the labor market, and under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, a specialized training workshop was organized on Wednesday, 9th of July 2025, for the students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies within the framework of the university’s summer training program. The workshop was delivered by programmer Ms. Sarah Sadoon Abbas, focusing on how to prepare professional presentations using artificial intelligence tools. The session highlighted techniques for selecting appropriate designs, organizing texts and images, and utilizing smart platforms to enhance content quality while saving time and effort. This workshop is part of a series of activities aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, reinforcing the university’s role in providing the community with skilled professionals capable of keeping pace with modern developments.
