Director of Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications Publishes an Outstanding Scientific Paper

A research paper by Professor Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi has been published in the scientific journal Journal of Iraqi Al-Khwarizmi (JIKh) titled: "Two Stages Approach for Detection and Classification of Retinal Images Using Deep Neural Network and Deep-wavelet" The paper addresses the early diagnosis of retinal diseases, which are a major cause of vision loss globally. The research focuses on using the geometric features of retinal blood vessels for disease diagnosis. The proposed method consists of two stages for the classification and detection of eye diseases using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and geometric analysis of blood vessels. The first stage involves detecting the presence of any disease, while the second stage uses two datasets to classify four eye-related diseases by applying Deep Wavelet as a feature extraction technique. The results indicate that this approach is effective and achieves good results compared to other methods.

Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi Honored with the Iraqi Science Day Award

Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi, Director of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University, was honored with the Iraqi Science Day Award for Best Publication, in recognition of his distinguished book titled "Insights into Scientific Research". Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi Participates in Workshop Organized by Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies

Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi, Director of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in a workshop organized by Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies, part of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers – National Security Advisory. The workshop was part of ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation between research centers and government bodies to leverage modern technologies in support of national security and future development strategies. The workshop addressed key topics related to modern technologies and artificial intelligence and their impact on national security. Visit of Students from the College of Science, Artificial Intelligence Department, to the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications

A group of students from the College of Science, Artificial Intelligence Department, at Al-Mustaqbal University visited the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications, accompanied by their Department Head, Dr. Ahmed Adnan, the Department Coordinator, and several faculty members specialized in artificial intelligence. They were warmly welcomed by the Center's Director and staff, who introduced the students to the latest projects and activities being carried out at the center. Practical applications of artificial intelligence in various fields were also presented. The students showed great interest in the presentations and actively engaged with the activities and detailed explanations provided by the team.
