The third lecture was delivered by Engineer Mohammed Saad Abais, covering the basics of Arduino programming and its various applications. This course is part of the ongoing efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, which focuses on providing quality education and enhancing technological and innovation skills among students. Al-Mustaqbal University Prepares for the Third Mustaqbal Week Festival in April 2025

As part of its preparations for the Third Mustaqbal Week Festival, scheduled for mid-April 2025, Al-Mustaqbal University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, held a series of meetings attended by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Prof. Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi. The meetings were also attended by the deans of the medical group colleges, the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, the College of Sciences, and the College of Agricultural Technologies, along with their deputies, department heads, and the Director of the Al-Mustaqbal Center for AI Applications, as well as faculty and staff from the relevant colleges. During the meetings, preparations for the upcoming Mustaqbal Week for Sustainability were reviewed. The festival will include a series of scientific conferences, workshops, and forums, previously approved by the university. These events will either be hosted by the university itself or organized in partnership with local and international universities. Additionally, the festival will feature exhibitions and unique initiatives showcasing the talents of students and staff, highlighting innovation and sustainability.

Second Lecture of the "Arduino Basics for Beginners" Course at Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications

Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications at Al-Mustaqbal University held the second lecture of the "Arduino Basics for Beginners" course, under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi. The lecture was delivered by Engineer Mohammed Saad Abays, focusing on providing participants with essential skills to develop electronic projects using Arduino. This course aims to promote innovation and technological learning among youth and is part of the university s initiatives supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), as it encourages students to innovate in the fields of digital technology and artificial intelligence. New Research Published by Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi on Retinal Blood Vessel Segmentation Techniques

A new scientific paper titled "Retinal Blood Vessels Segmentation Using Classical Edge Detection Filters and the Watershed" has been published by Prof. Dr. Nidhal Khdhair Al-Abbadi, Director of Al-Mustaqbal Center for AI Applications at Al- Mustaqbal University. The research highlights the importance of retinal blood vessel extraction as a crucial step in diagnosing eye-related diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. The paper proposes a five-stage approach that begins with preprocessing the green channel of retinal images and applying classical edge detection techniques.
