His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honors the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi.

In a special celebratory atmosphere marking Iraqi Academic Day, His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, in recognition of his outstanding role and active contributions to supporting the higher education system in Iraq. The celebration was attended by a selection of academic and parliamentary figures. His Excellency the Minister delivered a speech on behalf of the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani, in which he announced the issuance of a letter of thanks and appreciation from the Prime Minister’s office to all Iraqi academics, acknowledging their dedication and efforts in advancing the education system. Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi emphasized in his speech that academic development will remain a cornerstone of Iraqi universities’ performance, highlighting a series of achievements over the past two and a half years, including: The establishment of the Scientific Research Authority Internationalizing education and aligning academic programs with global changes Enhancing the credibility of the Iraqi degree Attracting over 3,000 international students Iraqi universities achieving significant leaps in scientific research indicators For his part, Dr. Ali Maseer, the President of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, expressed his great appreciation for the role of the Ministry of Higher Education under Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi's leadership, stressing the importance of enhancing academic excellence in Iraqi universities to meet international standards and rankings. This honor reflects the prestigious position that Al-Mustaqbal University has reached under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi and its continuous efforts to achieve academic and research excellence.

Al-Mustaqbal University Shines in the Global Day of Babylonian Civilization Events

Al-Mustaqbal University participated with distinction in the Global Day of Babylonian Civilization events, which commenced in Babil Governorate on April 10th, in the presence of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Dr. Muhammad Tamim, Babil Governor Mr. Adnan Fihan Al-Dulaimi, along with a number of political, diplomatic, cultural, and artistic figures. The Al-Mustaqbal University pavilion at the festival was visited by His Excellency the President of the Republic, who praised the university s reputation and academic excellence, commending its advanced ranking among private universities in both local and international classifications. The pavilion also attracted a wide turnout from local and international delegations. It featured a distinguished display of Babylonian artifacts in collaboration with the Department of Archaeology at the College of Arts, which provided a documented scientific explanation of the symbols and pieces on display, highlighting the cultural heritage of the city of Babylon. Additionally, the pavilion showcased the university s peer-reviewed scientific publications, reflecting the research and academic efforts in various fields, particularly those related to history, archaeology, and humanities, showcasing the university’s leading role in supporting studies on civilization and heritage. This event, the first of its kind in Iraq, lasts for three days and includes specialized conferences on archaeology and investment, as well as exhibitions of flowers, traditional industries, folk crafts, and literary and cultural productions, presenting a scene that embodies the deep cultural heritage of the city of Babylon and its historical role in serving humanity. Under the Patronage and Attendance of the Minister of Higher Education: Al-Mustaqbal University Participates in the Second Global Day of Babylonian Civilization Events

Al-Mustaqbal University participated with a delegation led by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the Administrative Assistant Prof. Dr. Munther Fadhil Hassan, Director of Diwan Affairs Mr. Abdul Razaq Shaker Majdi, Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Ammar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Education Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rawdan, and Program Officer Prof. Dr. Mazen Kazar, alongside a selection of faculty members and students, in the second day of the global celebration of Babylonian civilization, which was held in Babil Governorate. The event was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, who called for strengthening specialized scientific research in the fields of archaeology and civilization, praising the academic participation of Al-Mustaqbal University. The event was also sponsored by Babil Governor Mr. Adnan Al-Dulaimi, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University of Babil, Prof. Dr. Amin Al-Yasiri, and several professors and academics. During his meeting with His Excellency the Minister, the President of the University emphasized that Al-Mustaqbal University’s participation in this event aims to support national efforts to revive the Babylonian heritage, and to embody the rituals of Akitu through archaeological, cultural, and artistic activities, as well as contribute to discussions on ways to develop scientific and cultural tourism in Babil. Student Innovation in Motion: Ongoing AI Workshops Preparing for the Second AI Exhibition!

Under the patronage of the respected President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, The Al-Mustaqbal Center for Artificial Intelligence Applications continues its series of hands-on training workshops focused on developing applied student projects, in preparation for the Second Artificial Intelligence Exhibition, to be held during the university’s Third Sustainability Week. The latest workshop was delivered by Eng. Mohammed Saad Abis, who guided students through practical techniques for turning innovative ideas into working models using AI and microcontroller technologies.
