Under direct supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Azher M. Abed, Head of the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering Department with cooperation of the engineers supervising the labs, students of the Dept. have constituted field teams to maintain all the equipment of the College.
This initiative aims to rationalize consumption of electricity and reduce loads on generators. It has been noticed however that periodic maintenance shall cut down about 15-20 per cent of energy consumption.
It is remarkable to note that these activities are considered as part of the “College Sustainable Programs”.
