In implantation to the Directives of Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and within the Approach of Openness & Communication with Iraqi, Arab and International Universities that aim to consolidating bonds of cooperation in the Academic, Scientific and Research Fields between Public and Private Universities, a Joint Scientific & Academic Cooperation Agreement has been signed between Al-Mustaqbal University and Technical University of Dohuk.
It is remarkable to note that the Agreement has aimed to enhancing joint cooperation at Scientific and Academic Fields between the two Universities, that would certainly lead to promoting the status of Iraqi Universities among their counterparts, whether in the region or in the whole World.
We should note however that the Agreement has included cooperation in a number of common interest areas so that Goals & Vision of both Universities shall be effectively achieved. It has comprised Exchange of Experiences in the Fields of Teaching and Mutual Scientific Research, as well as organizing Conferences, Seminars and Workshops, in addition to activating Academic Visits at the level of Students and Researchers.
The Agreement has also incorporated Cooperation and Coordination in the field of developing capabilities and skills of Academics and Students, as well as updating Curricula in line with the Rapid Technological Progress witnessed in the World, and thus, meeting Labor Market Requirements as well.
In a Statement released to the University Media, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Al-Mustaqbal University President, has emphasized the importance of activating Memorandums of Understanding and Agreements by initiating the implementation of possible items as per priorities, as well as proceeding with permanent follow-up through continuous communication in a way that would achieve the desired benefit for both Parties.
It is worth noting that the Agreement has been signed by Prof Dr. Ari Adil Abdul Qadir, President of Technical University of Dohuk, and Prof Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific & Academic Supervision, representing Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University. The Signing Ceremony has been conducted at the Presidency Building of the Technical University of Dohuk, in the presence of the President Assistant for Administrative Affairs, and Dr. Riyad Hamid Selman, Head of Quality Assurance Division.
Finally, we are obliged to note that the Signing Ceremony has been concluded with Exchange of Shields and Souvenirs, with the Representative of Al-Mustaqbal University, expressing his Thanks & Appreciation for warm welcome and hospitality.
