We are obliged to note that Al-Mustaqbal University has managed to accomplish another achievement in the field of Scientific Research after topping Private Universities and surpassing a large number of Public Universities, according to the latest report issued by the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research regarding Research Output of Iraqi Universities on Sustainable Development Goals.
In a Statement released to the University Media, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, has declared that the University has come in the First Position among Private Universities, as it has achieved Nine Hundred and Sixteen (916) Research Papers, followed by Islamic University with Fifty-Seven (57) Papers, whereas Al-Farahidi University has come in Third Place with Six (6) Research Papers.
It is remarkable to note that Al-Mustaqbal University Research has been focusing on Five Sustainable Development Goals, and they are as follows:
SDG 7: Affordable & Clean Energy has come at the forefront with Four Hundred Ninety-Five (495) Research Papers;
SDG 9: Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure, with One Hundred Sixty-Nine (169) Papers;
SDG 13: Climate Action has come Third with One Hundred Thirty-Seven (137) Research Papers;
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption & Production has come Fourth with Eighty Seven (87) Academic Papers; and finally
SDG16: Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions has come last with Twenty-Eight (28) Papers.
On this Occasion, Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi has congratulated all Academics, Employees and Students for this Qualitative Achievement, emphasizing that Al-Mustaqbal University is on the pursue to promote and strengthen its Scientific Status among other Universities at both Local and International Levels, and thus, the University shall keep on consolidating the Educational Process, in addition to achieving Distinguished Research Output at both quantity & quality.
