It is considerable to note that Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and on the Occasion of World Earth Day, has participated in a Spring Agricultural Campaign inside the University Campus. This Campaign has been organized by Academics and Students of Chemical Engineering & Petroleum Industries Department at the College of Engineering & Technology.
We are obliged to note however that World Earth Day is a Global Occasion that aims to educating people about the importance of Environment Preservation. It is indeed an Event, which represents an opportunity to actively having a role in the improvement of our Surrounding Environment, in addition to raising the Community's Awareness about the vitality of Environmental Sustainability.
Besides, Al-Mustaqbal University has considered this Event as part of its ongoing efforts to protect Environment and Biodiversity, encouraging everybody to participate in planting trees and flowers whether inside or outside the University.
Finally, we should keep in mind that such Activities, including World Earth Day, do encourage Collective Action in addressing Global Environmental Challenges, and meanwhile promoting Awareness for the need to preserving our Planet and its Natural Resources for Current & Future Generations.
