Part of raising Awareness towards issues related to People with Disabilities & Special Needs, Al-Mustaqbal University has participated in a Ramadan Evening organized in Baghdad, entitled
“Bright Future for People with Disabilities and Special Needs”
We are obliged to note that Mr. Sajjad Razzaq Al-Hilali, Head of People with Disabilities & Special Needs Unit at Al-Mustaqbal University, has been among the participants in this Evening, along with a group of Specialists in this Field and Representatives of Baghdad Community.
During the Evening Discussions has been focusing on how to create a Suitable Environment for People with Disabilities and enhance their integration into Society, keeping in mind that Government Institutions and Organizations should have an Active Role in such Vital Activity.
Mr. Sajjad, Head of People with Disabilities Unit has pointed out that a set of achievements has been implemented by Al-Mustaqbal University related to the field in question, appreciating meanwhile the role played by Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the University President, in the establishment of an appropriate environment for People with Disabilities.
For his part, Mr. Ahmed Hasan Shakir, Head of Student Activities Department, has expressed his interest in establishing a Special Unit for People with Disabilities at the University, confirming that the University Goals and Vision do strongly focus on developing this Unit that would pay more care and attention to People with Disabilities & Special Needs.
