Under the patronage of the esteemed President of ALMUSTAQBAL University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and in collaboration between the College of Nursing and the College of Arts and Humanities, a scientific workshop was organized under the title: "Legal Media Frameworks... A Partnership Towards Protecting Healthcare Staff." This initiative aligns with the third and sixteenth goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The workshop was presented from a professional perspective by Dr. Mahdi Saleh, representing the College of Nursing, from a media perspective by Asst. Lecturer Saif Al-Din Al-Shams, representing the College of Arts and Humanities, and from a legal perspective by Brigadier Adel Al-Anawi, Director of Media and Public Relations at the Babil Police Department.
The workshop addressed various aspects of assaults on healthcare workers and explored possible measures to mitigate such incidents from media, legal, and academic standpoints. Additionally, it served as a platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise, emphasizing the vital role of the healthcare sector in societal development and prosperity while contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals
