Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education, the Head of the English Department organized a workshop titled “The Role of Educational Institutions in Raising Awareness to Reduce Addiction: Key Topics and Steps,” attended by faculty members and students. The workshop aimed to highlight the role of educational institutions in raising awareness about the dangers of addiction, presenting practical steps and strategies for prevention, and discussing key topics including: health and behavioral education, promoting family and community awareness, and the role of educational programs in fostering positive values among youth. The workshop also included interactive sessions, where attendees actively exchanged ideas and experiences on the best ways to combat addiction and limit its spread within the community. This workshop comes as part of a series of activities conducted by the department to promote community awareness and reinforce concepts of health and proper behavior among students.
