Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Roudhan Salman, the Department of English at the College of Education – Al-Mustaqbal University organized an official visit to the College of Education at University of Babylon as part of the ongoing preparations for the Future Ambassadors for Sustainability Camp, scheduled to be held on Friday, 17/10, and Saturday, 18/10. The delegation was headed by Assist. Lecturer Rasha Ihsan, Rapporteur of the Department of English, accompanied by the administrative staff member Aya Firas Neamah , along with a group of department students: Mohammed Ali Sami and Mustafa Ahmed Hadi. The visit aimed to deliver an official invitation to Dr. Sadiq Mahdi Kadhim, Head of the Department of English at University of Babylon, as well as several respected faculty members and students, to participate in this important university event dedicated to promoting the culture of sustainability and social responsibility among Iraqi university students. During the meeting, Assist. Lecturer Rasha Ihsan expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception and spirit of cooperation shown by Dr. Sadiq Mahdi Kadhim and the staff of University of Babylon. She emphasized that this visit reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to strengthening academic cooperation and exchanging scientific expertise among Iraqi universities, in a way that supports the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations. For his part, Dr. Sadiq Mahdi Kadhim praised Al-Mustaqbal University’s initiative in organizing pioneering scientific and community activities, stressing the importance of such camps in raising students’ awareness and encouraging their active participation in building a sustainable future for Iraq. The visit concluded with an emphasis on the importance of continuing cooperation between the two universities and developing academic partnerships that enhance the spirit of giving and environmental and social responsibility, which represent an essential part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s mission.
