As part of the preparations for Sustainability Week, Assistant Professor Dr. Salam Al-Asadi, Head of the English Department at the College of Education – Al-Mustaqbal University, received an administrative delegation from the College of Education, which included several officials involved in organizing activities and programs related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<br />During the visit, the key themes and planned activities for Sustainability Week were discussed, with an emphasis on the importance of diversity and inclusion of environmental, educational, and cultural dimensions to raise students’ awareness of sustainability and its practical applications.<br />Several significant proposals were presented, most notably the integration of artificial intelligence into educational and awareness projects, as well as the importance of collaborating with other colleges across the university to organize joint events that encourage knowledge exchange and broaden the positive impact within the academic community.<br />This visit comes within the framework of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly: Goal 4 (Quality Education): by involving students in innovative educational activities that broaden their perspectives and enhance their skills. Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure): through the incorporation of modern technologies such as AI in educational and awareness programs. Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities): by promoting community-based initiatives focused on environmental and sustainable practices.Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): by fostering institutional collaboration among colleges and departments to achieve holistic and sustainable development.<br />At the end of the meeting, the Head of the Department expressed his appreciation for the initiative, affirming the English Department’s commitment to actively participating in Sustainability Week in alignment with the university’s vision and community-driven mission.<br />Al-Mustaqbal University – The First-Ranked University in Iraq.<br /><br />
