As part of its efforts to strengthen social and academic bonds among students, the English Language Department at the College of Education, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized an orientation event for new students, attended by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rawdan, the Head of the Department, Lecturer Dr. Salam Hassan Maki Al-Asadi, along with faculty members and students.<br />The event began with a welcoming speech by the Head of the Department, in which he greeted the new students and emphasized the importance of such activities in creating a supportive and motivating learning environment, which contributes to the development of students' academic and social skills (Goal 4: Quality Education). He also reaffirmed the department’s commitment to providing high-quality education and encouraging students to actively participate in university activities to enhance their academic experience.<br />The event included introduction sessions among students, where each student had the opportunity to introduce themselves, share their academic background, and discuss their interests. This contributed to strengthening social connections and building a positive network within the department (Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals).<br />The orientation witnessed great enthusiasm from the students, who expressed their happiness with this initiative, which allowed them to integrate into the university environment, meet faculty members, and engage with administrative staff.
