Al-Mustaqbal University Launches an Electronic Barcode System to Organize Clinic Operations and Protect the Rights of Students and Patients
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, the university has launched an electronic barcode system within the clinics of the College of Dentistry. This makes Al-Mustaqbal University the first institution to adopt such a system for organizing and monitoring clinic operations through a modern, digital mechanism.
The system assigns a unique electronic barcode to each clinic, enabling the registration of patient data and the tracking of daily patient visits. This provides accurate statistics that help streamline operations and facilitate the monitoring of clinical activities.
Furthermore, the system aims to protect the rights of students by documenting the number of patients and cases handled in each clinic. It ensures a clear distribution of workload, tracks clinical efforts, and enhances both transparency and precision in clinic management.
This project represents a significant step toward digital transformation and the advancement of medical and educational services. It simplifies administrative procedures, improves the organization of patient intake, and establishes a database that can be utilized for future evaluation and planning.
A key feature of the system is that it is provided entirely free of charge—reflecting Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to leveraging technology for the benefit of students and patients, while fostering an advanced educational and training environment that supports high-quality clinical instruction.
With the ongoing support and guidance of its leadership, Al-Mustaqbal University continues to adopt modern technological solutions that enhance institutional efficiency, elevate service standards, and advance the university’s journey toward digital transformation and sustainability.
