Second-year students in the Department of Biology, College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, delivered scientific seminars as part of the Plant Anatomy course on Monday, 2 November 2026, under the supervision of Assist. Lect. Jaafar Hamed Jaafar, at the Humanities Building. The seminars focused on providing students with the opportunity to prepare, present, and discuss scientific topics, enabling them to explore the course material in greater depth, benefit from scientific information, exchange knowledge, and gain insights from the feedback and guidance provided during the presentations. These seminars represent an important aspect of developing academic skills, particularly scientific research, organizing ideas, presentation, and discussion skills. They also contribute to strengthening students’ self-confidence and their ability to communicate specialized scientific knowledge. This practice is part of the teaching methods adopted by the Department of Biology to support active student participation and develop their scientific and practical capabilities throughout their university studies.
