As part of strengthening academic and field collaboration between the university and educational institutions, Dr. Ahmed Hani Naif, a faculty member in the Department of English Language and Literature at the College of Arts, Al-Mustaqbal University, visited Al-Nidal High School for Girls in Baghdad (Al-Qadisiyah district). The visit aimed to execute a specialized social field case study entitled "Secondary School Student Absenteeism and Its Impact on English Language Learning", conducted in direct coordination with the school administration and the social worker. The study investigated the social and behavioral factors contributing to student absenteeism and evaluated its direct consequences on academic achievement and language skill development in English, offering educational recommendations to mitigate absenteeism and enhance student academic engagement.
