As part of its commitment to keeping pace with developments in the healthcare sector and enhancing its educational and training environment, Al-Mustaqbal University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, visited the Sixth International Health Conference and Exhibition in Iraq (Health Expo Iraq), held at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds, accompanied by Mr. Abdul Ridha Shaker Majdi, Director of Al-Mustaqbal Teaching Hospital Project. During the visit, the delegation explored the latest medical equipment and technologies presented by local and international companies, and discussed opportunities to benefit from these innovations in equipping Al-Mustaqbal Teaching Hospital, supporting the development of healthcare infrastructure, medical services, and clinical training. In a related activity, a delegation from the Technical Engineering and Health Technical Colleges participated in a scientific visit to the exhibition, headed by Professor Dr. Bayan Mahdi Sabbar, with the participation of academic staff and students from the Department of Medical Devices Engineering Techniques. The visit aimed to explore modern innovations and medical technologies, while connecting academic knowledge with practical applications and labor market requirements. This participation reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment, as the First University in Iraq, to strengthening cooperation with specialized medical institutions and companies and utilizing technological advancements to support education, training, and scientific research, in line with its vision for advancing the healthcare sector.
