in which kidney damage causes further elevation of blood pressure due to sodium retention and increased RAAS activity. This interaction accelerates the progression of chronic kidney disease and increases the risk of cardiovascular complications. Prevention and Management Early detection and effective blood pressure control are essential to prevent renal complications. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, serum creatinine, estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), and urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR) is recommended. Lifestyle modifications, including reducing sodium intake, maintaining a healthy body weight, engaging in regular physical activity, and avoiding smoking, can significantly contribute to renal protection. Antihypertensive medications, particularly angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors) and angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs), may provide kidney protection in patients with albuminuria when appropriately prescribed and monitored.
