The seminar addresses the physiological mechanisms of human kidney function and the engineering principles behind the design of dialysis machines (hemodialysis). It aims to provide an understanding of how blood is filtered and how kidney failure is managed through technological solutions to improve healthcare efficiency. These applications also support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, and Goal 4: Quality Education.
