The Department of Communications Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness activity entitled “Breast Cancer Awareness and the Importance of Early Detection” on Thursday, October 28, 2026, at Al-Mustaqbal University. The activity was prepared by Hiba Ali Khazal and Asst. Lecturer Ayat Iyad Hussein. The activity included the preparation and distribution of awareness brochures aimed at introducing breast cancer, highlighting its most common signs and symptoms, and emphasizing the importance of early detection and regular screening in increasing recovery rates and reducing the risks associated with the disease. This activity was organized as part of the department's commitment to promoting health awareness, strengthening community health culture, and encouraging women to take care of their health through knowledge, preventive measures, and early screening. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, by promoting health education and disease prevention. Al-Mustaqbal University, ranked first among private universities in Iraq, continues its efforts to support awareness activities and community initiatives that contribute to building a healthier and more informed society.
