As part of Al-Mustaqbal University's ongoing efforts to enhance students' engineering and practical skills, foster creativity and innovation, and promote a spirit of scientific competition, the Civil Engineering Department at the College of Engineering is organizing the Scientific Bridge Competition for Second-Year Students. The competition is held under the patronage of the respected Dean of the College of Engineering and under the supervision of the respected Head of the Civil Engineering Department. It aims to provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate their engineering capabilities and apply their academic knowledge in designing and constructing bridge models and testing their structural efficiency, thereby enhancing their engineering thinking, teamwork, and innovation skills. The competition activities will be supervised by Lect. Dr. Uday Hamza Al-Maamouri and Lect. Lina Hussein Ali, in an atmosphere of scientific enthusiasm and constructive competition that encourages students to present outstanding engineering ideas. Valuable prizes will be awarded to the winners in recognition of their efforts and creativity. Competition Date: Saturday, 31 October 2026, at 11:00 AM. Venue: Engineering Building – Third Floor – Conference Hall. This event is part of the scientific activities organized by the College of Engineering to prepare students equipped with scientific knowledge and practical skills capable of keeping pace with developments in the engineering fields.
