Good health is one of the fundamental pillars of sustainable development, as economic and social progress cannot be achieved without a healthy society and effective medical care. With the rapid advancement of technology, modern healthcare technologies and advanced medical devices have become essential tools for improving the quality of healthcare and facilitating diagnosis and treatment. Therefore, integrating medical technology with sustainable development goals has become a crucial step towards building more efficient and sustainable healthcare systems. Modern medical devices, such as medical imaging equipment, vital signs monitoring devices, and intelligent diagnostic systems, contribute to the early detection of diseases and the reduction of complications. These technologies also assist physicians in making accurate treatment decisions, positively impacting patients’ health and increasing their chances of recovery. Furthermore, telemedicine technologies have helped extend healthcare services to remote areas that lack hospitals or specialised medical personnel. Moreover, healthcare technology supports the achievement of the third Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 3), which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. Modern technologies help reduce mortality rates associated with chronic diseases, improve healthcare services, and increase the efficiency of medical institutions. Medical innovations also contribute to promoting health equity by providing more accurate and timely diagnostic and treatment services. In conclusion, the continuous advancement of healthcare technology represents an essential element in achieving sustainable development within the healthcare sector. As medical innovations progress and modern devices become more widely available, healthcare systems become better equipped to provide improved services to society, contributing to a healthier and more sustainable future and a better quality of life.
