As part of the scientific activities of the Biomedical Engineering Department, a scientific workshop entitled “The Anatomical Structure of the Humerus” was conducted. The workshop explored the anatomical structure of the humerus, its major anatomical landmarks, and its main components, highlighting its functional importance in upper limb movement and its connections with the surrounding joints and muscles.
The workshop aimed to enhance students’ anatomical knowledge, bridge the gap between theoretical information and practical application, and develop their scientific skills and understanding of human anatomy and its applications in the field of Biomedical Engineering.
The workshop was supervised by Engineer Mohammed Abdul Karim as part of the department’s efforts to support scientific and educational activities in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting practical learning and developing students’ scientific skills in medical and engineering fields.
