As part of its ongoing efforts to promote digital awareness and strengthen the concepts of electronic protection, the Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies Department at the College of Engineering and Technical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, continues to emphasize the importance of spreading cybersecurity awareness among students through educational activities highlighting the role of cybersecurity in protecting systems, networks, and data from electronic threats and cyberattacks. The activity addressed the concept of cybersecurity and its key benefits, including protecting sensitive information from theft or tampering, ensuring business continuity, enhancing privacy and trust in digital transactions, and reducing financial and technical risks. It also highlighted the importance of adopting safe digital practices and raising awareness of the growing risks in cyberspace, contributing to the development of a safer and more reliable digital environment. This activity aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting knowledge and developing digital skills, and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by supporting the secure use of technology and enhancing the reliability of digital infrastructure. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among Iraqi private universities.
