Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Shakir Majdi, the Civil Engineering Department participated in the Engineering Student Creativity Forum, organized by the College of Engineering with the participation of its academic departments. The forum aimed to support talented students, foster innovation, and encourage students to transform their scientific ideas into practical engineering projects that contribute to serving the community. The participation of the Civil Engineering Department was conducted under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Mayada Waheed Falah, the Department Rapporteur, Assistant Lecturer Lina Hussein Ali, and Assistant Lecturer Saif Salam Saud. The participation took the form of a scientific and student activity in which students presented a range of engineering projects and illustrative models demonstrating various concepts and applications in civil engineering. These works highlighted their ability to apply academic knowledge in developing practical models relevant to real-world engineering applications and community needs. The presented works reflected the students’ scientific and practical skills, as well as their creative thinking and ability to design models that simplify engineering concepts and demonstrate the role of civil engineers in developing infrastructure, improving the built environment, and finding practical solutions to challenges facing society. The forum also provided an opportunity for students and academic staff from different engineering departments to exchange ideas and experiences. Furthermore, it promoted teamwork and experiential learning, helping students develop their design, analytical, and innovative skills while connecting theoretical knowledge with practical applications. This participation reflects the Civil Engineering Department’s commitment at Al-Mustaqbal University to supporting scientific and creative student activities, encouraging innovative ideas, and providing an educational environment that promotes creativity and scientific research.
