Asst. Prof. Dr. Musaddiq Maher Abdulzahra delivered an academic lecture entitled “The Sampling Theorem” to third-year students in the Department of Computer Engineering Techniques, College of Engineering Technologies, at Al-Mustaqbal University, as part of the Digital Communications course.
The lecture focused on the theoretical foundations of the Sampling Theorem and its significance in digital signal processing, particularly in converting continuous-time signals into discrete-time representations. It also highlighted the role of sampling frequency in accurately representing and reconstructing the original signal. The lecture contributed to strengthening students’ understanding of fundamental concepts in digital communications and their engineering applications.
The lecture witnessed good student attendance, reflecting students’ interest in the subject and their commitment to developing their specialized knowledge in digital communications.
This academic activity is part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of higher education and develop students’ scientific knowledge and competencies. It also aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, which promotes inclusive, equitable, and quality education and lifelong learning opportunities.
