Within the framework of enhancing practical engineering education, the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a specialized practical lecture today, Tuesday, October 27, 2026, for second-year students (morning study) in Laboratory (BL-404) focusing on "DC Generators."
The lecture featured a detailed applied explanation of the no-load connection method for DC generators (No-load Test), alongside precise measurements of speed and generated voltage. This enabled students to practically verify the direct relationship between rotational speed and output voltage, as well as understand the electromagnetic behavior of the generator.
The experiment was conducted under the supervision of the Electrical Machines course faculty:
Asst. Lect. Salwan Saood
Eng. Mustafa Muhammad Hassan
Eng. Haider Karrar Hussein
These continuous laboratory lectures underscore the Department Headship's commitment to linking theoretical concepts with practical applications in modern laboratories, preparing engineering personnel capable of handling electrical systems with efficiency and competence.
