As part of its efforts to support community awareness initiatives and promote the values of social justice and equal opportunities in academic and social environments, the Biomedical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized an awareness seminar entitled “Towards Effective Participation, Equal Opportunities, and a More Prosperous Society.” Seminar Organizers and Supervisors The awareness seminar was organized and directly supervised by: * Assistant Lecturer Hiba Diyaa Abdul Amir * Engineer Noor Al-Huda Razzaq The event aimed to raise awareness of the importance of encouraging the active and positive participation of all members of society and promoting the principles of equal opportunities in education, employment, and entrepreneurship, thereby contributing to social stability and prosperity. Developmental Themes and Key Topics The seminar addressed several important educational and developmental themes, including: * Emphasizing the importance of active, practical participation by young people and academic staff in community service and the development of practical and technological sectors. * Raising awareness of the need to uphold equal opportunities and ensure inclusivity and non-discrimination in providing initiatives, training, and academic and professional opportunities. * Discussing the role of social justice and knowledge empowerment in creating an environment that fosters innovation and creativity, positively contributing to sustainable economic and social development.
