The Department of Accounting at the College of Administrative Sciences, Al-Mustaqbal University, held a scientific workshop entitled “Building Social Capital for University Students” on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The workshop was delivered by lecturers Asst. Lect. Ali Yousif Ibrahim and Asst. Lect. Amir Husni Matar, with the aim of highlighting the importance of social capital in strengthening human and social relationships within the university environment. The workshop addressed the role of effective communication, teamwork, mutual trust, and cooperation in building positive relationships that contribute to developing university students’ personalities and enhancing their ability to integrate into the academic community. It also highlighted the importance of developing dialogue skills and constructive interaction with others. Furthermore, the workshop emphasized the importance of fostering cooperation and shared responsibility and encouraging students to participate actively in university activities, thereby contributing to a positive educational environment that supports academic excellence and personal and social development. This workshop is part of the scientific and awareness-raising activities organized by the department to develop students’ skills and strengthen their social capabilities in line with the demands of university life and the labor market.
